BARBARA BROACH

Piano

Barbara Broach was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Her home town of New Madrid, Missouri, is famous for the New Madrid earthquake fault. She earned a BA in English from the University of Mississippi and a MAT in English from Brown University. Barbara has been teaching Piano at WSOTA since 1989. She has also taught English in high school, community colleges, and as a second language in Japan.

Married to Robert Broach in 1968, they lived in MS, VA, RI, Spain and Japan before moving to Orange Park. They have two grown children, Adrianne in Atlanta and David in the Virgin Islands. Barbara is an avid tennis player, reader and traveler who also loves to cook, especially dishes picked up on trips.
